Also referred to as brokerage or agency commission. This is the remuneration charged by brokers in the course of brokering stock exchange transactions. The calculation is made exclusively in the course of actual business transactions. In Switzerland, banks refer to the fee they charge clients for executing a stock exchange transaction as a brokerage fee.
