PING AN HEALTHCARE: What's going wrong?

Nothing! In any case, we cannot see anything - apart from the break-even point still in the future - that speaks against the ecosystem and the great positioning of the healthcare provider PING AN HEALTHCARE ("GOOD DOCTOR"). Is it perhaps the new data protection rules in China that have caused the stock to stumble? This would definitely only be a short-term effect, whereas the longer-term group performance argues for an investment. The insurance group PING AN and parent company of "GOOD DOCTOR" has built up an eco-structure as its core, which is excellently positioned and whose pillars - finance, health, real estate and smart city (holistic development concepts) - strengthen each other. The management also attaches great importance to the entrepreneurial thinking of all employees and rewards this accordingly. Innovation is very important, which is also reflected in the high technical standard.

PING AN HEALTHCARE also remains active: a strategic partnership was recently entered into with Chugai Pharma China with the aim, among other things, of setting up an osteoporosis clinic and establishing a comprehensive management system for their patients. This "move" will enable the company to attract additional customers. Statistically, about one-fifth of people over the age of 50 in China suffer from osteoporosis (bone disease in the form of bone loss). A new, innovative drug is also to be launched on the market to treat this condition. In principle, the aging of the population speaks in favor of the Group and its shares: by 2049, there will be more older people in China than younger ones. The former are also more health-conscious and demand high-quality healthcare services. In our view, the Chinese stock market is being badmouthed too much, because with positive GDP growth there is also room for the political adjustments. We remain invested, but reduce the price target to HKD 90!
