LITHIUM AMERICAS: Small commitment, big effect!

A currently tight financing market separates the wheat from the chaff for explorers! This is accentuated when the prices of the respective raw material - e.g. lithium - are under pressure. Only the view over the McDermitt Caldera makes feelings of constriction disappear, because here, in the border region between Oregon and Nevada, the landscape is very wide and open. In prehistoric times, a super volcano spread out in this caldera (cauldron-shaped depression), catapulting a good 1,000 ^km3 into the air and leaving its mark on the area. Today, this area is primarily populated by geologists because the ancient sediments contain one of the greatest "treasures" to be found in the battery age. In any case, the two largest lithium mineral resources discovered to date in the USA are located here... with a "fabulous" total volume of more than 40 million tons of LCE. In terms of registered land ownership, only two companies are listed: LITHIUM AMERICAS and Chariot Corp. The former owns 246 ^km2 of land, the latter a good half at 121 ^km2. Theoretically, it would be "all set"! However, as already mentioned, a battle for capital is currently raging.

Many known projects where lithium is to be produced in a few years' time are suffering due to higher interest rates, as these are making both debt and equity costs significantly more expensive. As a result, it is becoming increasingly difficult for explorers to obtain the capital required to build the plants. A significant proportion is raised via private placements, although a weak trend has been observed here for a few years. At the same time, officialdom, major banks and research departments are saying in unison: "The world needs more lithium... much more and very quickly!" The current lithium price alone speaks a different language! Is the next "run" coming soon? Either way, we will buy 65 shares of LITHIUM AMERICAS for only around CHF 130 if the buy limit of USD 2.30 is reached. The EP would be halved!
