HOLCIM: Now the position is gone with +42% profit!

The question will be whether the building materials group HOLCIM can buck the trend in the event of a major recession - which is also still possible in the USA. It goes without saying that the Group is doing many things right and is fundamentally well positioned. Nevertheless, the real estate sector is faltering in quite a few countries due to the noticeably higher level of interest rates... the insolvency of Signa-Holding, which is not an isolated case, sends its regards. As a result, the construction industry is also suffering from the circumstances, even if the situation does not yet appear to be dramatic. Nevertheless, even HOLCIM could find itself in the waters of lower sales, especially if there is a downward trend in the USA. As announced, we have now sold our long-standing position at CHF 63 with a gain of +41.8%!
