Term for brokers. These are securities, foreign exchange and commodities traders who carry out stock exchange transactions on behalf of customers. Brokers in the narrower sense are securities brokers admitted to a foreign stock exchange. As a rule, these are not individuals, but securities trading banks. They may also serve private clients and, for the most part, also manage their assets.
