Following a temporary correction to USD 13.07 (mid-July), the stock of the American tech company AEVEX has quickly rebounded, bringing us back to a gain of about 44% as of last Friday. The price rebound is primarily attributable to new production orders from U.S. government customers; the total value of the order volume amounts to USD 88.1 million, a significant contract for AEVEX. The California-based defense technology company announced that the orders include autonomous systems, software for mission autonomy, and operational architecture for air and sea applications. In other words: long-range precision weapon systems. “AEVEX’s customers continue to place their trust in our ability to deliver high-quality capabilities at an operationally relevant scale,” said Roger Wells, CEO of AEVEX. “Our product portfolio is based on real-world operational experience and proven success.” AEVEX is continuously investing in manufacturing capacity to meet the needs of the U.S. Department of Defense and international partners. Since we are already quite close to our price target of USD 24, we’ll hold on a little longer, but will sell the position once this threshold is reached!
AEVEX is listed on the NYSE in New York under the symbol AVEX; the ticker number is 154,882,826, and the last price was approximately USD 22.17.
